Leather birdie brooch I made this morning with my pyrographer.

I just enrolled in ceramics school this week and had my first class today! I feel like my arms are going to fall off! I did lots n' lots of kneading, I sat at the wheel for the first time in my life and learned how to center, cut and shape and loved every minute of it :) I also learned that a totally different set of skills is needed for this kind of craft, but most importantly I had fun learning something new. I'm excited to see where this will lead.

Freehand vine in dark blue I decided to paint above my studio window. Making it up as I go with acrylic paint and a round brush. Now I need to finish the other half :)

I found this cute little black Moleskine a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying painting on it. Here is what I've done so far :)

I made some real size "Terrariums" archival quality prints for my Etsy shop. I printed these on Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton paper that's 8" x 18"and it looks exactly like the original :) You can purchase them here . Oh! and I also brought back the ABC of Birds poster .

While looking through my flat file yesterday I found this half-done piece I started way back in 2009 and decided it was time to finish it. Schmincke Horadam watercolors on Twinrocker paper 9 x 18"
