I just got back from spending some time with my sister Kiki in Madrid. We are very, very close but we hadn't seen each other in fifteen years! It was an incredible and emotional reunion. We visited the Real Jardín Botánico one day and these are some of the wonders I spied with my little eye. The last photo is the view from the plane before landing in Madrid.

Two stones I painted recently with acrylics and a wood pottery rib I made from scratch and then decorated with the pyrography tool.

This is what the sky looked like a couple of days ago: breathtaking. I hardly ever grab my SLR camera anymore, but when I looked outside my studio window I was compelled to go take some photos outside.
