I'm in completely love with the new studio Manolo built for me in our home and I could spend all day in there but at dawn... it really turns into a remarkable space with the golden light of the low sun streaming in.

As my sweet friend Sonia told me at Instagram : "It was inevitable" :) Hand carved & wood burned mahogany birdie.  1) Carved with this knife .  2) Sanded progressively with coarse, medium and fine grit sandpaper. 4) Wood burned with my pyrography pen 5) Finished with this wood salve .
