We unloaded the kiln at ceramic's school today and I was able to finally bring home all the pieces I've made so far. It was like Christmas :) I'm absolutely in love with clay ♥

Whittle Birdie

As my sweet friend Sonia told me at Instagram : "It was inevitable" :) Hand carved & wood burned mahogany birdie.  1) Carved with this knife .  2) Sanded progressively with coarse, medium and fine grit sandpaper. 4) Wood burned with my pyrography pen 5) Finished with this wood salve .
